This month the board of directors voted to retain the legal services of local law firm Burdett, Morgan, Williamson & Boykin, LLP. This decision will allow the board to move forward with an investment plan and, within the next 60 days, begin selling investor shares to eager folks in the Amarillo area (and beyond). This relationship also puts the Co-op on solid footing going forward as we make important strategic decisions for the Co-op and the brewpub. While this development is far less exciting than, say, finding a location, it is critical nonetheless. We expect to maintain a long-term relationship with this well respected Amarillo law firm.
