SHANNON KUHFUSS, PRESIDENT

Shannon was born on the east coast and raised in Oak Park, IL. After high school she moved to San Diego for college and worked in the boating industry where she met her future husband. The two of them moved to Laramie, WY in 2013 and enjoyed all the glory that the northern Colorado beer industry has to offer. After a fun couple of years playing in the mountains, they moved to Amarillo, bought an old house and adopted two furry children. Shannon is an Account Executive for a local Amarillo television station and has a rich background in customer service. The importance of quality in beer and food was instilled in her from an early age by her late father who taught her how to cook and drink properly. She enjoys sailing, hiking, beer, cured meats, coffee and dogs.

TODD WETSEL, VP & TREASURER

A proud father of an energetic little girl, Todd grew up in Amarillo and attended WTAMU. After beginning his career in banking, he changed gears and spent five years as a scout in the Army. Todd is passionate about great beer, and grilling just about anything. He has recently tried his hand at home brewing and is anxious to learn more. One of his favorite things to do while visiting other places is seeking out a local brewpub and trying a few beers. Todd currently serves on several local boards, as being involved in the community and giving back is very important to him. Whenever possible you will find him spending the day with his daughter hiking through Palo Duro Canyon or enjoying a good baseball game.  Go Rangers!

SHAUN MAGOUIRK, SECRETARY

Born and raised in Amarillo, Shaun is a proud native Texan. He is both a proud husband and a father to two beautiful daughters. Shaun has been on staff at Trinity Fellowship for 16 years, most recently in the role of Construction Project Manager. He spends his free time enjoying his family, doing beer tastings with friends, fly fishing in Colorado, and training in firearms. He has been a member-owner of Yellow City Co-op since 2013, and has recently begun home brewing. Shaun is excited to help the idea of a local pub that serves handcrafted food and beer, that is family friendly, and serves the community a reality.

MICHAEL 'MIC' ARMSTRONG

Mic was raised at Stratford, TX until graduation in 1974. He then completed an avionics trade school in 1974-75.  Mic came back to Amarillo where he met and married June Ormsby in 1977 and lived in Borger, TX. until moving to Amarillo in 2009.  They have raised two children and several dogs, and currently have 2 grand boys, a rescued dog and 2 grand dogs.  Mic graduated WTAMU in 1994 with a management degree and a minor in industrial technology, as well as serving in the Navy Reserves from 1991-1995.  Mic really likes craft beer and tries as much of the local brews when traveling around the country.  He has tried brewing, but found he would rather just drink it.  Mic likes to stay active by hiking, camping or biking with friends and the oldest grandson, playing in the Amarillo Senior Softball League and most recently Zip lines.

JOSH MOODY

Josh Moody is an Amarillo native who spent a reasonable stint in the DFW metroplex while attending UT Arlington.  Husband and proud daddy, he spends his days molding the minds of our youth and debating the starwars universe as an engineering teacher at a local magnet high school.  While anxious to get his feet wet in home brewing, Josh is an avid fan of trying handcrafted beer and makes it a point to try new beer at every opportunity.  Josh is also a car junky, loves a good cigar, a book, a quiet evening in the yard, the shooting sports, the Texas Rangers, and has recently become infatuated with robotics.  With a masters degree in Architecture, a background in design and construction, and current employment training future engineers, Josh has an analytical mind and an eye toward making the Co-op look as good as the beer tastes.

MATT MORGAN

Matt was born and raised in Amarillo. After graduating from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, he moved back to his hometown and married his high school sweetheart. Matt started his career in social work and education, and through various twists and turns, he has recently become the director of HR & Communication at Advanced Eye Care. Matt is active in the community, having served on 11 boards and committees over the past 5 years. Matt loves to play golf, ping-pong, and poker. He has recently started jogging for fun, and no one is more surprised by that than himself.  Matt looks forward to making Yellow City the place he can waste his weekends for years to come.

Zane grew up in Amarillo and returned shortly after attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock. After being a financial planner and investment advisor for 8 years, he made the leap into real estate full-time as a partner of a real estate brokerage and investment company. Zane has been deeply incorporated in both business and community in Amarillo and has served and lead on several boards. His passion for Amarillo, business start-ups, and craft beer make him a great fit for Yellow City Co-op. Zane is married and has two kids. His other interests include food, anything automotive, music, mechanical watches, firearms, and electronics.

Coby was born and raised in Roswell, NM and then attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. In 2000, he relocated to Amarillo and has enjoyed his time here ever since. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and works as a software developer for a local company. Coby is an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Coby tries to travel to Chicago every year to catch a football and baseball game. He has been married to his wife for 18 years and has a 10 year old son. His hobbies include playing with technology, investing in stocks, and spending time with his family.

Born in Shreveport, LA and raised in Amarillo, Jason is a husband and proud father of three children, two girls and a boy.  Jason holds two degrees from Amarillo College and one from WTAMU. Having dabbled in home brewing, he is eager to pick up the hobby on a more regular basis.  His love for craft beer and its culture has led to many friendships across the country which helps him trade and acquire beers that he can’t get locally.  His membership in Yellow City Co-Op was a gift from his amazing wife Abby and it has sparked his passion to bring a community owned brewpub to Amarillo.  Jason works as an Account Manager for Whit-Co Checks. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, LSU football, reading and watching movies.  He is excited to use his energy, passion and love for craft beer and culture to bring Yellow City to life.
